Making its regional debut, Los Angeles-based Simply Stylist conference, October 13
Style savvy visitors will be treated to the sixth edition’s schedule of events which includes: an exclusive appearance from world-famous beauty influencer Huda Kattan; international style and fashion bloggers Aimee Song and Sazan Hendrix; the first Simply Stylist international conference in the region; much anticipated runway shows showcasing global luxury brands; ‘House of Bazaar’ lifestyle pop up experience, among many more fashion themed events and exclusive luxury offerings.
Majid Al Futtaim’s flagship luxury destination is the gateway to style and beauty revealing the latest collections from the world’s leading fashion houses. Celebrating Autumn/Winter ’16 collections shown in Paris, London, Milan and New York, the mall’s schedule of events will highlight key seasonal trends including zesty colour palettes, rich velvets, pinstripe suiting, grey plaid, metal detailing as well as statement accessories and more.
World of Fashion 2016 will feature a series of exclusive events:
House of Bazaar, October 11 -15
After a celebrated introduction in 2015, World of Fashion will feature the unique House of Bazaar experience for a second year. Visitors are invited to enter a beautiful pop up house installation and fully immerse themselves into a guided journey of fashion, design, beauty and art. Inside the most fashionable residence in town, the carefully curated, distinct rooms are home to leading industry experts whom offer guests an insightful and inspirational look into their creative space:
‘The Gallery’ features an art space with a specially created studio exhibition by artist Amir Fallah.
Experience cutting-edge culinary presentations by lifestyle and food editors in the ‘The Wellness Retreat’
‘The Closet’ reveals the latest key buys in fashion, bags, shoes and accessories hosted by style consultant Rosemin Manji and fashion editors.
‘The Boudoir’ in partnership with Chanel, features a private feminine beauty room offering beauty guidance by Toni Malt, official makeup artist for Chanel Middle East, for the ultimate flawless look.
In the Bazaar Garden, guests can meet and mingle while waiting for a guided tour, while at night, the House of Bazaar will transform into a chic show space hosting intimate fashion presentations.
The House of Bazaar is located in the mall’s Central Galleria from October 10 to 15 – open to the public on October 14 and 15.
Exclusive Q&A session with Huda Kattan, October 12
Sure to be a hugely popular event, Mall of the Emirates is hosting a Q&A session with global beauty influencer and entrepreneur Huda Kattan, who will be sharing her famous tips for flawless looks as well as anecdotes on her incredible journey that lead her to build a beauty empire, at the mall’s Central Galleria on October 12, from 8 to 9pm.

Coming to the region for the first time exclusively at Mall of the Emirates ‘Simply Stylist’ Do What You Love Fashion and Beauty Conference from Los Angeles, is designed to connect career-minded fashion followers and beauty lovers with experts in their field.
