Menu The Taverna Greek Kitchen concept is based on a sharing style with a wide variety of meze split simply into cold plates, salads and appetizers to start.
Highlights include Ksidato Octopus, slow braised octopus with vinegar, oregano, onion, Salicornia and extra virgin olive oil.
Classic Greek dishes such as Tzatziki, Taramosalata and Athinaiki are also a staple part of the menu. The menu offers a variety of fresh seafood, each of which is cooked to order either grilled on the wood-fired grill, baked or salt baked with lemon oil and served with fresh horta. The fresh fish display located at the entrance of the restaurant is rich with the catch of the day selection such as: Sea Bass (Lavraki), Grouper (Sfyrida), Red Snapper (Lythrini), Sardines (Sardela) and Rock Fish (Scorpion).
Guest can also expect traditional Souvlaki Skewers, beef, lamb or chicken, served with homemade wood-fired pita bread, Greek fries and Tzatziki – cooked and served the Greek way.
Also on the menu are the Taverna Classics; Moussaka, Slow Roasted Lamb Shoulder, Gemista and Bifteki, all of which are dishes that are seen on every restaurant’s menu in Greece.
Desserts include traditional Greek doughnuts (Loukoumades), Greek Coffee Tiramisu or Greek Yoghurt Pavlova to name a few. The carefully selected beverage menu consists of unique concoctions of cocktails and mocktails featuring specially imported Greek ingredients, as well as selected wines that will compliment every dish on the menu – bringing together the complete Taverna experience.
